On Sunday, May 24th, Stories from the Beauty Parlor hosted our third community fundraiser at Paolo Pinkel, raising over 1.500€ for communities in Iran and Sudan.

After our successful Iran-Sudan Fundraiser, our community is stronger than ever! Read about one of Iranian guests who recognized a feminist activist she had met years earlier in Tehran. A wonderful moment reminding us how feminist organizing never disappears.

Stories from the Beauty Parlor and our Kurdish feminist partners JusticeNow have been awarded a Synergy grant by ifa (Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen) — supporting our cross-border collaboration between Berlin and Sulaymaniyah. This is our first state-funded international partnership.
