BP’s founder chosen as one of the 250 greatest Berliners of all time!

A Berlin-sized accolade has been dedicated to our founder Annamaria. The Berliner Ausgabe 250 June released their list of the 250 most influential Berliners of all time. Among names such as Audre Lorde, Rosa Luxemburg, Angela Merkel, Christa Wolf and Albert Einstein is Anna Maria Olsson!

Annamaria is being applauded for her outstanding community work in the cultural scene of Berlin, from mobilizing the community, to creating participatory action, all while advocating for a more inclusive, and culturally representative Berlin.

While this recognition mostly honours work from an earlier chapter of Annamaria's journey, today, that same spirit lives on through Stories from the Beauty Parlor. We see it as a celebration of the vision, commitment, and cultural imagination that continue to inspire what we do.

An extraordinary recognition that celebrates the path paved towards a more culturally inclusive Berlin.
