Thank you note from our partner organisation in Gaza

Majeda Al-Saqqa, Director of Culture and Free Thought Association (CFTA) reflecting on the support garnered during our December fundraiser for women’s orgs in Gaza and Ukraine.

“Dear Stories from the Beauty Parlor,

We are deeply touched by the support and your message moved me to tears. Gestures like this, full of love and solidarity, give us great strength. It reminds us that we are not alone! And that there are people like you who stand with us, even when world leaders fail to stand by justice. Your solidarity gives our work renewed energy and strengthens our belief in collective action.

Thank you very much for organizing the winter event for Gaza and the donation you give to our organization. What you and your community have done means more than I can express. Knowing that so many of you are young people, students, refugees and migrants showing up for us makes this solidarity even more powerful. It is about the future! Your care reaches us not only as support, but as dignity and hope that justice will reveal one day.

Please thank everyone who donated and stood with us, especially those who continue to demonstrate. One day, you will be welcome here, all of you, I do hope so and hope it will be very soon. We will not break as long as the good people like you are standing for justice. Freedom is already planted in hearts around the world.”
