Fundraiser wrap and end of year gratitue

Our fundraiser for women's organisations in Gaza and Ukraine is a wrap, and WHAT a lovely one!

So much love, energy and care were put into bringing this to life from everyone involved! The immense flavour journey through Gaza cuisine, the hearty Ukrainian borsch making people say “it tastes just like home”, the amazingly eclectic dj set from Amina and Shadi bringing everyone to the dancefloor, creating joy, community and breaking down imagined boundaries and borders between us.

We fundraised a total of 1300 €, and for you who know Stories from the Beauty Parlours' ambitions, this is just the start. That a mostly young, creative, migrant and student community could come together to put forward this for women’s causes in Palestine and Ukraine is just our leverage to start pushing for people and companies (like the 690 billion beauty industry) to step up their game too ;)



Thank you to everyone who came a dance, drank, chatted with strangers and neighbours and some extra love to Bite Club Berlin for generously donating all the drinks and making it all happen!

We can wait to continue transforming self-care to community care with you in 2026 ;)
