Finally, we can confirm more details about our next event! This September in Berlin, Beauty Parlor and Bite Club will be partnering to raise funds for women’s causes in Palestine and Ukraine. There will be food vendors, beauty care, events, music, and more. The event will also include the launch of our upcoming feminist book club. OUR FIRST LIVE PODCAST

On June 14th, Founder and CEO Annamaria Olsson guest starred on Radio Spaetkauf’s special live-filmed episode of their podcast. The event took place at Doxumentale, Berlin’s premier documentary film festival, late at night as the sun set over Tempelhofer Feld. The episode discusses Berlin’s public biking system and the exciting documentaries featured at this year’s Doxumentale, as well as Beauty Parlor. Annamaria discussed our past and future podcast episodes, some insights into the creation of Beauty Parlor, how we see the beauty industry as a source of female empowerment, and more! SNEAK PEAK: THE NEXT EPISODE

Our next podcast episode is in the works already! Though we won’t have an episode for August, we promise the wait will be worth it. The fifth episode will take you to Romania, exploring the lives of queer Ukrainian refugees living there through the lens of beauty parlors. It will be BP’s first collaborative episode, narrated by guest hosts Mariia and Ina, currently on the ground doing the research! We are thrilled about this joint effort.
