Fundraise for women’s organizations in Gaza and Ukraine

The second fundraiser of the year is approaching, this time combined with the birthday party for our favourite community hair salon space in Neukölln at Studio 14! We will fundraise for women's organisations on the ground in Gaza and Ukraine catering especially for women’s needs in times of war and genocide as a consequence of the patriarchal and imperial ideologies currently plaguing our planet. 

The revenue of the evening will go to CTFA (Culture of Free Thought Association) in Gaza and Marsh Zhinok in Ukraine, both recommended by Palestinian and Ukrainian community members for outstanding work.

Expect:

  • Natural wine and drinks for a good cause

  • Beauty treatments such as henna, nails, and touch ups from people like the wonderful Syrian-Palestinian beauty boss Alaa

  • Palestinian food and storytelling from the marvelous Gaza Cooking Club telling a bigger story about food as resilience

  • Ukrainian comfort foods like borscht and varenyky prepared by Ukrainian community members

  • DANCEFLOOR with a mixed cool bag of DJs

  • Feminist-LGTBQ+ book swap (bring a book in any language and swap it to a new one) 

  • Storytelling corner

Show up with your full beauty, joy and solidarity for an evening of togetherness and recognizing our shared humanity, despite our differences in the mirror.
